Project Summary

The JTB Gas Unitization Field Development Project is one of the National Strategic Projects (Proyek Strategis Nasional) for the energy sector under Pertamina which was stipulated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) through Presidential Decree Number 109 of 2020 concerning the Acceleration of Implementation of National Strategic Projects. Jambaran-Tiung Biru field is projected to become one of the largest gas producer candidates in Indonesia with gas sales production reaching 192 Million Standard Cubic Feet per Day (MMSCFD).

In this project, I specifically supervise waste water and waste treatment plant in the field. The sour gas (SO₂ and SO₃) are removed from the raw gas, and then reacted with limestone (Ca(OH)₂) to produce gypsum. The process contains slurry flow and solid handling equipment, including screw pump, crystalization, evaporation, decanter, and filter press.

Job Descriptions & Achievements

• Developed procedures and performed pre-commissioning tests (Solo Run Test, Mechanical Run Test, Leak Test, Site Acceptance Test, and Steam Blowing) and commissioning to ensure the equipment runs well.
• Led 20+ engineers and technicians to run the required tasks and tests, with a 97% acceptance test rate from the client.
• Supervise the assessment of all equipment installation, preservation, maintenance, and startup in order to ensure the quality and accuracy of the intended design.
